First 30 days: Review product marketing content

  • Performance vs competition

  • Best practices among SaaS companies

  • Suggestions: 30 days, 90 days, 180 days

 

First 30 days: Review core audiences and personas, competitive positioning

  • Review core audiences and personas

  • How can we reflect this in product centric competitive positioning

 

Ongoing: Own product marketing content to drive demand

  • Library of materials to be used by marketing and sales to promote product portfolio and core use cases

  • Generation of new content serving core audiences

  • Regular review of content with stakeholders to continuously improve

 

Ongoing: Own integration portfolio to drive demand

  • Generation of technical content geared toward driving faster integration decisions and turnarounds, e.g. client libraries, technical documentation, API documentation

  • Define clear success criteria and follow up

 

Ongoing: Own product awareness and generate demand

  • Across a multitude of channels
    • Webinars

    • Email campaigns

    • Social media, e.g. Reddit

    • Industry specific media channels, e.g. IPVM

  • Define clear success criteria and follow up

 

Ongoing: Support product management with research

Requirements

General:

  • You’re strictly goal oriented: unquestionable focus on helping craft and achieve quarterly objectives and key results

  • But we’re not dogmatic: you escalate and make suggestions whenever you believe goals need to change

 

Role-specific:

  • 3+ years experience in SaaS or IT product focused technical marketing or product marketing

  • Successfully launched and positioned products to an IT audience

  • Experience with CRM and digital marketing tools and techniques

  • Previous consulting or project based experience

  • Strong analytical and project management skills

  • Ability to produce goal oriented roadmaps and campaigns to drive leads
